Modifications Available

 
 

1. SPECIAL MARKING

 
»

Special marking may be made by rubber or metal stamping at points a and b. Metal stamping at point b requires the thermostat or thermostats to be made in separate lots.



2. DIAL AND KNOB

 

a

A large dial and knob may be added to applicable  thermostat units . Graduations on dial are marked from’1’ to ‘7’ for adjustment to higher or lower temperature . pointer will be set on no. 4 dial position



3. FACTORY TEMPERATURE SETTING

Any unit may be factory preset within the following range.

Brass shell
:
0 to 200 degree Celsius
S.S. shell
:
0 to 300 degree Celsius

Modification ‘4’ is recommended when ordering a factory set unit to preclude possible shift in set point due to mms - handing .

NOTE: It is to be expected that a slight adjustment will be required after installation although the unit will have been accurately set at the factory .



4. TEMPERATURE LOCKING DEVICE

After a thermostat unit has been calibrated, it is advisable to lock the temperature adjustment sleeve to prevent unauthorized tampering with the setting . The locking device is also desirable if the unit is to be subjected to extreme vibration in service.



5. EXTENDED LEAD WIRES

Lead wires may be extended to any length . Wire lengths are specified as portion of lead wire outside of thermostat unit such as indicated at dimension ”L”.



6. EXTENDED TEMPERATURE ADJUSTING SLEEVE

Under certain conditions it is desirable to extend the adjusting sleeve. Extensions should be ordered in multiples of 1cm sleeve length are specified as portion of sleeve outside of thermostat units .
